Occupational therapy and sexuality counseling in Maine
People are not their diagnoses.
We are complex whole beings and deserve to be treated as such.

Everyone deserves to experience pleasure.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, satisfied, and seen in their sexuality and intimate relationships.
These beliefs are at the heart of my work. I offer specialized occupational therapy and sexuality counseling services to help overcome daily life challenges that are affecting sex and intimacy-supporting disabled, chronically ill, aging, and changing bodies through whole-person sexual health care. If your experiences with intimacy, pleasure, or connection have been shaped by physical, emotional, or societal barriers – I can help you navigate your path forward.
These challenges are real. They’re valid. And they deserve care.

Physical changes that are affecting your quality of life but no one on your healthcare team is addressing these changes in the context of sex and intimacy

A change in your ability to feel like yourself as a sexual being

Feeling nervous or embarrassed about bringing up sexual concerns

An attempt to bring up sexual concerns with someone on your healthcare team that left you feeling that your needs were not met.

Frustration with the lack of knowledge and resources available for disabled folks
Hi, I’m Caitlin.
My goal is to empower you to address your health and reclaim what is important to you.
My work is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and the belief that sexual health is a vital part of our well-being—no matter what body you’re in.
My background in OT allows me to offer specific strategies to address physical concerns as well as a foundation in understanding a variety of medical conditions and disabilities. I blend this with my sexuality counseling training which is grounded in a deep understanding of human sexuality and managing sexual concerns that enables me to provide specific strategies and information to problem solve those concerns.

These are all examples of common difficulties that we can address. You can expect an individualized care plan following an evaluation of your concerns and goals. Intervention strategies involve a range of techniques depending on needs.
